Sam V. Campo began his business in the 7200 block of Harrisburg Blvd in Houston, Texas, with about 600 square feet of space. About 10 years later, he moved the shop into a 20' x 30' building behind his home. Around 1940, 10 more feet were added to the building. By 1945, a new building, also behind his home was constructed, making the shop area over 2500 square feet.
