Structural Rolling



After the acquisition of Reed Young Co., Campo Sheet Metal now has the capability to roll structural members. We can roll angle, flat bar, square bar, tee, pipe, rod, channel, I-beam, and W-Flange.


We currently have 5 structural rolls in our facilites capable of rolling the maximum sized members listed below.

8” X 8” X ¾” Angle
8” X 1” Flat Bar – Hard Way
15” X 50# Channel – Leg In or Leg Out
12” X 50# Beam – Easy Way


We can roll structural from a diameter of 20", for certain applications, all the way up to any diameter needed. There is no maximum radius or diameter, but larger diameters may require multiple arcs to create the desired arc or ring. The minimum diameter for most structural is 2'-3' diameter but it can vary depending on a variety of factors. Structural type, structural size/weight, material, and orientation of the roll all factor into the minimum diameter that is posible to be rolled to.


Due to the way the structural rolls in our facilty are designed a straight length will occur a the end of some rolled lengths.  To resolve of this issue we add additional length, tails, to the stretchout of the member being rolled, this usually adds about 3' to stretch out length on larger structural members that are required to be rolled with the larger roll and about 18" to members that can be rolled with the smaller structural roll.  By adding tails to our structural rolls we offer a high quality roll that is rolled the to the desired radius/diameter through the entire arc or ring.
