Plate Rolling

With the acquisition of Reed Young Co., Campo Sheet Metal Works, Inc. has greatly expanded the plate rolling capabilities.  We now have the ability to roll material up to 3" thick under certain circumstances.  We are able to roll 1-1/2" plate 120" wide and 2" plate almost 60" wide. (All of the preceding capacitites are based on mild steel, different grades of material will vary from this)

With the joining of Reed Young Co. & Campo Sheet Metal Works, Inc., there are a total of 8 plates rolls in a variety of sizes and capacities within the facilites.

- 10' x  1-1/2" capacity Bertsch plate roll
- 10' x 1-1/2" capacity Faccin plate roll
- 8' x 5/8" capacity Pullmax plate roll
- 10' x 5/8" capacity Pullmax plate roll, chrome plated rolls
- 10' x 5/16" capacity Roundo roll
- 5' x 1/4" capacity powered roll

We can roll steel plate for pressure vessels , tanks, cylinders, and a variety of other applications.  One of the plate rolls has hard chrome plated rolls to reduce the possibility of contamination of alloy plate.  With the variety of plate rolling equipment in our facilities we have a rolling option to fit your budget and needs. 

We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality plate rolling available. We work to a standard shop tolerance of +/- 1/8" for roundness, when specifically required we work to keep the roundness +/- 1/16".  Before cylinders are shipped to the customer they are checked for roundness to ensure quality.  Campo Sheet Metal employs experienced quality plate roll operators.
